I served as the editor and co-producer for multiple episodes of Pac-12 Networks's Pac-12 Unlocked, a series created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. With traditional production no longer possible, our team reimagined how to tell student-athlete stories by embracing a fully remote documentary approach.
Using self-shot footage submitted by the athletes, virtual interviews, and creative post-production techniques, we captured an intimate look at life during lockdown and the challenges of competing in an unprecedented time. The limitations pushed us to experiment with new storytelling methods, resulting in some of the most authentic and emotionally resonant work our team produced. This playlist features the episodes I edited and co-produced for the series, showcasing how compelling stories can be told even when production happens entirely from a distance.
